KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, CHIMAIRA Interviewed By MISTRESS JULIYA

April 11, 2007

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and CHIMAIRA recently took part in their first-ever joint interview in the latest episode of "Thrash Talk", featuring Mistress Juliya. Watch it at this location.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE recently filmed a video in Los Angeles for its new single, "The Arms of Sorrow". According to the casting call sheet, "this video revolves around a man falling from a high-rise building in slow motion and people reacting to it."

"The Arms of Sorrow" comes off the group's new album, "As Daylight Dies", which has sold around 230,000 copies in the United States since its November 21 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD is the follow up to 2004's Grammy-nominated album "The End of Heartache", and 2005's gold-selling DVD "(Set This) World Ablaze".

HALFORD/DIESEL MACHINE guitarist and ex-DAMAGEPLAN vocalist Patrick Lachman filled in for Dutkiewicz on the band's North American tour with DRAGONFORCE, CHIMAIRA and HE IS LEGEND. Dutkiewicz underwent emergency back surgery in January during KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's European trek and will spend the next few months recuperating. Standing in for Dutkiewicz on the European tour was ex-SOILWORK guitarist Peter Wichers.
